Back in the first post here I mentioned I was unsure what guns I had been sent with the Kabardin as they did not match the pictures on Antenocitis site. Within a day, I had been contacted both by blog post and e-mail explaining it was a packing mistake and they would despatch BOTH variations to make up for the error.
True to their word, earlier this week a padded envelope came along with the following two turrets bagged up. Figure is the normal GZG NI infantry man, the 1p coin is 20.3mm in diameter and the change in background colour to try to remove some of the glare (and failing).
First out the pack was the GP variant turret and 30mm auto-cannon:
Then sliding out came the anti-tank option:
All parts cleanly cast with the AT version looking real cool!
Due to the thin profile of the turret base I do not think I can drill a mounting hole for a magnet (and am loath to just stick one on) so I may have to use a sliver of metal on here and mount the magnet in the body to allow me to change turrets as I need to. Failing that – I could always buy a couple more but that may be a bit of overkill for a small skirmish game!
So great service from Antenocitis Workshop and a great model to boot.
